Eurasian Tree Sparrow [pilfink]

Most of the time, I see these around outdoor restaurants, hoping for leftovers. But not today, this one (one in a group] searched the shrubs for food. Naturum Hornborgasjön, Broddetorp, on April 24, 2020.

Eurasian Tree Sparrow [pilfink]

I can't recall I've ever seen tree sparrows around the house. But a couple of weeks back, we noticed a pair at our feeding station. And they are still here! Hedegärde, Uddevalla, on April 27, 2017.

Eurasian Tree Sparrow [pilfink]

I always have a hard time separating the tree sparrow from the house sparrow, trying to remember which one has the black spot on its cheek. This one has a black spot, I decide. Hence, according to the literature it’s a tree sparrow. Skaftö, on April 19, 2015.
