Common Blackbird [koltrast]
Where there are apples, there are blackbirds. Most of them eat the apple as if from a bowl – the half one here has been eaten on by a fieldfare. Hedegärde, Uddevalla, on February 9, 2018.

Marsh Tit [entita]
One of the best things of providing a variety of food at one's feeding station, is that on cold days like this, you get visits from a variety of birds. The marsh tits want sunflower seeds, the blackbirds go for the apples, while the great tits can do almost anything for a peanut. Hedegärde, Uddevalla, on February 6, 2017.

From the archive: The winter of 2011/2012 was particularly cold and snowy. This blackbird took up residence at our balcony, so interested in the extra food we provided that neither the cat nor some humans seemed to bother it. Hedegärde, Uddevalla, on February 3, 2012.
