Brambling [bergfink]

A new one on the blog: a brambling. They’re on their way south and stopped by for a short visit, hanging out with the chaffinches. Misteröd, Uddevalla, on October 16, 2020.

We’ve taken over an allotment cottage nearby, and put a feeding station in the appletree. The chaffinches love whatever falls to the ground. Misteröd, Uddevalla, on October 16, 2020.

Our neighbor redstarts are very shy. They love to sit on the fences, however, but if anyone comes close they disappear into the woods immediately. And they sing beautifully! Hedegärde, Uddevalla, on June 26, 2020.

Among the Horses

Eurasian Tree Sparrow [pilfink]
